Recent Career Accomplishments:
- Completed a Phase I RFI of waste disposal operations from a 50,000-bbl/day refinery.

- Supervised start-up of a groundwater recovery system for a 100-acre refined product plume. Reduced thickness from average of 3 feet to 0.5 feet. Managed system for initial eight years of operation and maintained compliance with TNRCC Administrative Order.

- Conducted Environmental Site Assessment of abandoned metal plating foundry with more than 50,000 cubic yards of onsite waste that had impacted groundwater, buildings and adjacent properties. Further investigation revealed that previous consultant had significantly underestimated the nature and extent of contamination.

- Closure approved for remediation of soil, structures and water contaminated with twelve hundred barrels of concentrated sulfuric acid.


- Closure approved for five sub-grade hazardous waste tanks. Recommended alternate waste management practices allowing unit closure and saving client 50K+ annually.

- Renewal of a hazardous waste permit for a 50,000 bbl/day refinery.

- Closure approved for a groundwater contamination site in Ventura, California. Remediation required soil excavation, waste disposal, groundwater monitoring and upgradient impact assessment.
